How can you find someone's address if they don't list it in the phone directory?

I have to get the address of a former tenant in order to take him to small claims court. He moved and didn't list his address under the new phone number in a different city. I tried a reverse search, but it told me only the street, which is miles long, not the house or apartment number.

  1. You could check and see if they re-registered to vote under the new address. That is public record. Also, you could run their credit again and see if they have a new address listed. You could also check public court records, and see what address they have listed. A lot of times people will give the address of a friend or relative, and you could contact those address and see if they will give you the current address of the former tenant.
  2. They have books with that information at the library. I'm sorry I forget what they call them. Go to the library and ask the reference librarian about them.
  3. You might check to see if that city has a "City Directory". Our city has one and we used it a lot when I worked.
